Sanna Wieslander Arrives Downunder

We all know just how much Australians love the Scandinavian aesthetic. We are delighted to have just discovered the very quirky works of Sanna Wieslander from Sweden.

Sanna's Animal People are just amazing and since we launched them online this week, it appears Australian decorators are going to love Sanna also.

Sanna's original works are totally hand drawn with pencil. pen and marker and the detail is just amazing.  They are printed on heavy weight stocks and are delivered ready for framing wrapped in acid free tissue.  Your local framing workshop will be delighted to assist with framing or you will also find many "off the shelf" options at Ikea - another Swedish star!

Our artROOM is now open.  Our first collection is from Martin Moore from Copenhagen.

About Scandinavian Home Decor

When we think of Scandinavian Decor, mostly we think of the ultra contemporary, cutting edge design.  This is true for a part of the market, but it is not all like this.  Just as in Australia, not all Scandinavians desire a pared back minimalist lifestyle.  The Danish country home can be many things from opulent castles (slots), to rural farmhouses and slick seaside bolt-holes.

Greengate of Copenhagen designs lifestyle products to suit interiors of a feminine or country feel.  Since the early 90's, this family-owned company has been translating classic European designs using modern colour pallets to suit today's relaxed lifestyle.  You can read more about Greengate here.
